Resolution No. 9380

IN THE MATTER OF RECONSTITUTING THE MEMBERSHIP OF THE TECHNICAL EVALUATION COMMITTEE (TEC) IN CONNECTION WITH THE MAY 13, 2013 NATIONAL AND LOCAL ELECTIONS

WHEREAS, pursuant to Section 10 of Republic Act No. 9369, an independent Technical Evaluation Committee (TEC), was established for the 2008 ARMM Elections, and convened for the said elections and for the 2010 National and Local Elections, composed of Director Denis F. Villorente of the Department of Science and Technology (DOST) as Chairman, Commissioner Timoteo Angelo Diaz de Rivera of the Commission on Information and Communications Technology (CICT) and Director Ester L. Villaflor-Roxas of the Commission on Elections (COMELEC), as members;

WHEREAS, for purposes of the May 13, 2013 National and Local Elections, DOST Secretary Mario G. Montejo, designated Dir. Denis F. Villorente, Advance Science and Technology Institute (ASTI) and Officer-in-Charge, National Computer Center, as representative of the DOST; while Executive Director Louis Napoleon C. Casambre of the Information and Communications Technology Office (ICTO, formerly CICT), designated Engr. Reynaldo T. Sy, Officer-in-Charge, as representative of the ICTO;

WHEREAS, for purposes of said May 13, 2013 National and Local Elections, the COMELEC designated Dir. Ferdinand P. De Leon, Director III, Information and Technology Department (ITD), as its representative to the TEC;

NOW, THEREFORE, the Commission on Elections, by virtue of the powers vested in it by the Constitution, the Omnibus Election Code, Republic Act No. 9369, and other election laws, RESOLVED, as it hereby RESOLVES, to reconstitute the membership of the Technical Evaluation Committee (TEC) for the May 13, 2013 National and Local Elections, composed of the following:

RESOLVED FURTHER, for the TEC to immediately convene for the May 13, 2013 National and Local Elections, for the purpose of complying with the provisions of Republic Act No. 9369.

Let the Project Management Office for the 2013 AES implement this Resolution.
