
OFFICE OF THE ELECTION OFFICER (EO)
Under the direction of the Provincial Election Supervisor;
- Represent the Commission in the city/municipality or municipal district of assignment;
- Implement policies, rules, regulations, decisions and other guidelines promulgated by the Commission;
- Supervise the registration of voters and the holding of elections, referenda, plebiscites and other political exercises in the city/municipality;
- Keep and maintain the municipal file of registered voters;
- Keep, maintain, and update the registration records in the city/municipality;
- Issue voter's identification card, in case of loss, to registered voters;
- Implement the education and information program and other programs of the Commission in the city/municipality;
- Maintain effective liaison with other government offices in the city/municipality; and
- Perform other related functions.
