The Commission on Elections announced Monday that they will temporarily stop accepting applications for voter registration in the Cities of Pasig City's 1st and 2nd Districts, Taguig and Muntinlupa from today, September 28 until such time that it will be possible for the said offices to resume their normal operations.

COMELEC spokesman James Jimenez said he received reports from National Capital Region (NCR) poll officials that its offices in the Cities are still inaccessible due to floods and no power brought about by last Saturday's heavy downpour.

Jimenez advised the voters in the Cities to contact COMELEC-NCR at telephone numbers 527-0846 or 527-9624 for additional information. ###
