The Commission on Elections (COMELEC) invites printers to apply for eligibility and to bid for the printing of various election forms in connection with the upcoming 8 August 2005 ARMM Elections.       The approved budget for the contract is ONE MILLION TWO HUNDRED FIFTY-FOUR THOUSAND AND THREE HUNDRED SEVENTY-TWO AND 28/100 PESOS (PhP 1,254,372.28) to be sourced from the contingent fund for SY 2005, G.A.A., R.A. 9336.       The bid documents and list of eligibility requirements may be obtained from the Bids and Awards Committee (BAC) Secretariat Office located at 7/f Palacio del Gobernador, Postigo St., Intramuros, Manila.       Interested bidders are advised to take note of the following schedules: Issuance of Bid Documents and List of Eligibility Requirements (upon payment of a non-refundable bid fee in the amount ONE THOUSAND PESOS (PhP 1,000.00) 5 to 11 June 2005 Pre-bid Conference 13 June 2005, 10:00 am BAC Secretariat Office Submission and Opening of Bids 27 June 2005, 10:00 am BAC Secretariat Office       Award shall be made to the bidder who submitted the lowest calculated and most responsive bid and who is post-qualified. Criteria for the eligibility check of the prospective bidders, examination and evaluation of bids and post-qualification and all matters relevant to this procurement shall be in accordance with Republic Act No. 9184 and its IRR, otherwise known as the government procurement reform act.       It should be noted, however, that the above bidding schedules are subject to change.       The COMELEC reserves the right to reject any or all bids, waive any defect or informality contained therein, and accept the lowest calculated and responsive bid that is most advantageous to the Commission.
