Sealed bids for the sale/public auction of one (1) lot of unserviceable properties stored at the Storeroom of the Commission on Elections, Intramuros, Manila, and one (1) lot of unserviceable vehicles located at the Maxilite Building, Perez Street, Paco, Manila, shall be received at the Session Hall of the Commission on Elections, 8th Floor, Palacio del Gobernador, Intramuros, Manila, on January 30, 2007, at 10:00 o ’clock in the morning, at which place, date and time, said sealed bids shall be opened in the presence of the Members of the Disposal Committee, representative of the Commission on Audit and the participating bidders. Prospective bidders may inspect the unserviceable properties, subject of this public auction sale, at any time during office hours beginning January 23, 2007.
Bid documents may be obtained during regular office hours beginning January 23, 2007 from the Property Division upon payment to the Cash Division, this Commission, of a non-refundable amount of one thousand pesos (PhP 1,000.00).
Bids shall state the lot price for item/s bidded and shall be accompanied by a Bidder’s Bond equivalent to ten per centum (10%) of the offer, in the form of cash or manager’s check/ cashier’s check payable to the “Commission on Elections”.
The Commission on Elections reserves the right to reject any and all bids without any explanation, to waive any formality therein, or to accept such bids, as may, in its sole discretion be considered most reasonable and advantageous to the government. The right is also reserved to reject bids which are defective due to inadequate preparation, confusion or lack of sufficient data.
