Invitation to Bid

Various Medicines as required by Health Services Division,
Personnel Department
( BAC - (M) - Ref. # 2009 - 011)

Promulgation: 29 June 2009

1. The Commission on Elections (COMELEC), through the allocation for Supplies and Materials of the FY 2009 Appropriations intends to apply the sum of One Hundred Ninety-Five Thousand Five Hundred Twenty-Two and 75/100 Pesos (195,522.75) being the Approved Budget for the Contract (ABC) to payments under the contract for the Supply and Delivery of Various Medicines (15 items)

Bids received in excess of the ABC per item shall be automatically rejected at Bid Opening.

2. The COMELEC now request for quotations from Bidders for the Supply and Delivery of Various Medicines (15 items). Delivery of the GOODS is required Fifteen (15) days upon receipt of funded Purchase Order.

3. Interested Bidders may obtain further information from COMELEC Bids and Awards Committee (BAC) Secretariat and Request for Quotations (RPQ) at the address given below starting June 30, 2009 to July 7, 2009 at 800H to 1700H from Monday to Friday.

4. Sealed Bids must be submitted on scheduled Bid Opening on or before July 7, 2009 at 1400H at COMELEC Session Hall, 8th Floor Palacio del Gobernador, Intramuros, Manila and it will be open right after the scheduled Pre-Bid for the Supply and Delivery of Service Vehicles. Sealed Bids will be open in the presence of the BAC, Observers and Public. Late Bids shall not be accepted.

5. COMELEC assumes no responsibility whatsoever to compensate or indemnify bidders for any expenses incurred in the preparation of the bid.

6. COMELEC reserves the right to accept or reject any Bid, to annul the bidding process, and to reject all Bids at anytime prior to contract award, without thereby incurring any liability to the affected Bidder or Bidders.
