Pursuant to Comelec Resolution No. 10-0268 dated 23 February 2010, copy of which hereto attached, you are hereby notified that the Commission AWARDS to your firm the CONTRACT FOR THE PROCUREMENT OF BALLOT BOX TRANSPORTATION with PCOS to all polling centers nationwide for the May 10, 2010 Automated Elections, amounting to FIVE HUNDRED NINETEEN MILLION TWENTY FOUR THOUSAND THREE HUNDRED NINETY AND 24/100 PESOS (Php 519,024,390.24)

Within ten (10) days from receipt of this Notice of Award, your firm shall post with the Commission a performance security in the amount equivalent to five percent (5%) of the contract price or Twenty Five Million Nine Hundred Fifty One Thousand Two Hundred Nineteen and 51/100 Pesos Only (P25,951,219.51) in the form of either cash, manager’s/cashier’s check and bank draft/guarantee confirmed by a universal or commercial bank payable to Commission on Elections. Your failure to post the requisite performance security shall be ground for the annulment of this award.
