This is with reference to COMELEC Resolution No. 8646 promulgated on July 14, 2009¹ wherein, among other things, it stated that the last day for filing petitions for registration of parties, organizations and coalitions under the party-list system of representation is August 17, 2009.

       For clarification, you are hereby advised that all petitions for registration with regard to the parity-list system of representation should be filed no later than 5:00 pm of Augst 17, 2009. Any petition filed after 5:00 pm shall be deemed as filed out of time and shall no longer be accepted.
