This pertains to the Warrant of Arrest against Provincial Election Supervisor (PES) Lintang Bedol subject of the Memorandum of Atty. Alioden D. Dalaig dated 22 October 2007 addressed to Chief Supt. Joel R. Goltiao, reproduced as follows:

“Immediately upon receipt hereof, you are hereby directed to cause the service and enforcement of the attached WARRANT OF ARREST to the person named therein, in connection with the execution of resolution issued by the Commission on Elections on 07 August 2007 and 31 August 2007 which has now become final and executory.

You are further directed to return the service copies hereof to the Law Department immediately after serving the same through the fastest means available.

For your immediate and strict compliance.”

Considering that to date no word from Chief Supt. Joel R. Goltiao on the service and enforcement of the Warrant of Arrest against PES Atty. Lintang Bedol has been received, the Commission RESOLVED, as it hereby RESOLVES, to direct Chief Supt. Joel R. Goltiao to submit a report on whether or not the Warrant of Arrest of PES Lintang Bedol has been served and enforced, within twenty four (24) hours from receipt hereof.

Let the Law Department implement this resolution.
