In connection with the July 30, 2009 plebiscites to ratified the creation of the three (3) municipalities namely: (a) Datu Hoffer Ampatuan, (b) Shariff Saydona Mustapha, and (c) Datu Salibo. The Results of the plebiscite are:

There being a majority "YES" votes, the creation of the above-named municipalities, in the Province of Maguindanao, are deemed ratified.
